Boho Paisley is an original rock experience from Chicago consisting of Mike, Ryan, Justin, and Ed. Frequently drawing comparisons to a Sublime, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and a Blind Melon love child, this Chicago based quartet continues to bring its original, high energy act to the stages of the greater Midwest in support of their debut album, Chimp Militia.

Article is a four man melting pot. Their sound combines melodic minimalist Indie Rock with crunchy Punk guitars,versatile vocals and eclectic drumming. For Emily, her music is the diary of her life and through it she shares some of her most personal and emotional experiences. Her attitude is “I can do this”. And why not! Emily has the look, the talent, and the heart--but most importantly the determination to be a Country Music Star.

Formed in May of 2004, Doppler Shift is an experimental jazz-funk-rock band comprised of drums, bass, tenor saxophone, and trumpet. Inspired by groups such as the John Zorn Masada Quartet and the Gerry Mulligan Quartet, and fueled by James Brown, Ornette Coleman, Helmet, Medeski Martin and Wood, Doppler Shift has no chording instruments by choice, giving the listener a transparent groove to move your ass to.

I am a singer / songwriter from Chicago. I was in a band for most of my college career, but we never seemed to see things eye-to-eye melodically. I've written a few songs I think will fade into the ether if I do them, but if a large, mainstream band performed it, it would sell millions. This song is about Jenny Lynn Snyder a friend of the band. She passed away at the age of 17 from cardiac arrest while playing in a soccer game.  This for her family.

Here is a beautiful song written by Fareed Haque.  It displays the sustain capabilities of the MOOG guitar very well.  Listen to the sounds in the background, that's what the MOOG guitar can do. 

Recording this band was the highlight of my 2009 year.
