Level5 is here finishing up overdubs and we are adding keyboards to finish out the recording so we can finish mixing.

Congrats go out to Level5 for becoming the newest endorsers of Baden Guitars. These guitars are built beautifully and the craftmanship is second to none. Baden is proud to include Mel and Joanna to the family.

We are very proud here at p10 to announce that local Chicago artist MER, has chosen our facility for the production if his latest CD. Currently in pre-production with writing partner, BlackBox guitarist Damon Ranger. We will begin very soon, compile studio musicians and work very hard to bring you MER's best work. Produced by Jimmy Johnson and Damon Ranger

Anna Marcella has chosen our studio to begin recording her newest material. We are set to begin work on the first song at the end of the month with the help of our session players. I am very excited to work with Anna and her unique style and blend of music.

The May issue of Mix Magazine will include an article about planet10studios. It will include information about the studio, it's equipment, a brief history about the location of the facility and the philosophy that the owners have regarding production, clients, equipment and the friendships that evolve while worling at this Chicago studio.

The band 'The Coop' will be here to complete a 3 song demo for their show at the Summer Camp Music Festival later in the month. The band brings to the musical table a mix of jazz, fusion, jam, alternative and electronica. We are very pleased to host their effort and look forward to making a very unique and musical demo.

Hip Hop Rap group ILL A Noise will be back to record more tracks for their debut CD with some friends from Los Angeles.

The Hannah Ford Band will be here to complete vocal tracks for their up coming debut CD. Paul Wertico is the producer.

The Hannah Ford Band will be here to complete her debut CD. Producing the project will be Grammy winning drummer Paul Wertico. We are excited to host this talented drummer and to again be working with Mr. Wertico. Recently Hannah Ford recieved the award for Best Drummer in the Chicagoland Area thru the Suburban Nitelife Awards. We congradulate her on the second such award in as many years.

Our own Frank Lucas and Vince Consolo along with session bassist Barry Kleiber will be performing product demonstrations for our good friends Kurzweil at two Guitar Center locations. April 13th will be at the Halsted store and April 14th will be at the Arlington Heights store. Frank will be demonstrating the awesome power of the new Kurzweil PC3x keyboard. Our good friend C.J. Lewis will be on hand to talk tech on the PC3x and to also demonstrate the true meaning of the name Kurzweil. please attend, you'll get blown away.

We like making great records for the people who write them. Nothing feels better than having something that displays the talents of the band and the studio that recorded it.

planet10studios is comfortable and has a great vibe in which to work and create.

I want to reconnect a musician with the spirit of creativity that brought them to write a lyric or play an instrument in the first place, but was lost due to the music business nature of lies and false promises. Taking away those items of destruction that lessoned the musician's passion for music and performance. This is my goal.
